We have an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources professional not only to contribute to a growing company but also balance personal and professional needs through a flexible schedule. You will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, Safety and Front Office practices and processes, as well as work with the leadership team to ensure people practices align to the company strategy and objectives. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Punjabi to be able to effectively communicate with our employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Address employee relations items as they arise and proactively work with the management team to maintain an engaged workforce.
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization that is aligned with applicable legislation
Nurture a positive working environment through employee’s engagement and their development.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintain compensation and benefits program
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Provide the leadership team with data and metrics to support data driven decisions
Implement Health & Safety regulations as per Work Safe BC regulations
Other duties as assigned from time to time.
