Van Gogh Designs is proud of its British Columbian roots offering locally designed and locally made furniture. It currently occupies over 100,000 square feet of state of the art manufacturing facilities. The manufacturing process cuts no corners, and each piece is meticulously inspected for quality control.

Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and executing strategic marketing plans that support our brand, drive traffic and generate sales. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will support all internal communication initiatives and events. This position is working full time and reporting to CEO of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the creative process of all marketing assets including photoshoots, catalog production, production of all digital marketing materials.
  • Create and implement annual marketing/media plans that include print, online, and social networking opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams in the organization to optimize sales and profits
  • Develop outreach invitations and feedback management to customer base.
  • Consider new ways to further develop our corporate site in order to make it an effective selling tool.
  • Develop marketing strategies, Implement and optimize innovative marketing campaigns, promote our products through different media channels, and online platforms to enhance marketing and drive sales.
  • Foster a positive relationship between the business and relevant stakeholders, such as customers, media outlets.
  • Conduct research to identify trends, market segmentation to decide effective promotional methods.
  • Provide suggestions to expand the sales volume.
  • Manage all social media Platforms.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Marketing, Communication or Business or related marketing credentials; and
  • Solid 3-5 years marketing experience.
  • Strong marketing sense with an intuitive understanding of marketing concepts, design concepts and visuals.
  • Demonstrated background in content management, creative writing, advertising concept, direct mail, print, media negotiations, and electronic advertising.
  • Ability to understand, apply and use applications like Power Point, Excel, Word; and basic skills or knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, well organized and a self-starter.
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
